And I had a skaven character in the works, and he wanted to practice fat faces and surprised me with this one!
Seguin Hart, aka Silverhood or Warmthbringer for his warm, kind, hot-and-passionate personality and his mastery over the magic of Aqshy, is from the "Age of Sigmar" tabletop setting of Warhammer. Normal Warhammer world ended, being reborn as 8 separate realms, one for each magic type. Originally from Hysh, the Realm of Light, his port-city was cursed by the Great Horned Rat in revenge for clearing out a burrow of evil skaven under them. Thankfully...or not, Tzeentch interfered with his rival, which along with Hysh's nature as enhancing introspection and clarity of thought, allowed them to retain their minds, souls, and lifespans at the cost of strange mutations, such as seen on Silverhood's eyes and blue fur, which is one of the more common mutations as blue and purple are Tzeentch's favorite colors. Some have feathers instead of fur, horns made of wood, or unnatural patterns like runes 'grown' into their fur that seem to flicker and move when you look at them or shift places when you're not. Furry gerbil-like tails instead of naked rat tails are also extremely common, being the most common mutation of all of them, though unlike a real gerbil's tail their's isn't designed to break off and isn't pulled off at the slightest touch, which he also has though not depicted.
Being a town of former elves, humans, and dwarves that kept their mind despite their new bodies, they're still loyal to the forces of Order and have even learned to use some of the benefits of teh curse to their advantage, such as keener skaven smell, prehensile tails, claws or teeth as tools, resistance to disease, and so on.
Silverhood is a Bright Wizard, though he does know other spells, wielding the fiery magic of Aqshy, dealing with all things heat, warm, and hot, from healing phoenix-flames to heating up food to perfection with a touch or making food seasoned and spicy with magic, keeping himself and those around him warm in the winter or cool in the heat or playing with fire for entertainment of others, like juggling small fireballs with his tail. The more magic he uses, the more parts of him light up with harmless flame, like his whiskers as little candles, or that hyena-like mane along his back lighting up like someone lit a gasoline trail.
Looks like he got a little too carried away with the Lore of Life's "Nourish" spell.. One casting is enough to make you not need to eat or drink for an entire day...How many times did he cast it to get like that!?
Also! He always smells like hot spices, smoke, and warmth, like a walking BBQ / camp fire in a pleasant way, and being around him leaves a slight hot taste on the tongue as if you were actually eating those spices, though the heat is never enough to be uncomfortable to the taster and readily stops if something else takes the physical taste buds and the spice would interfere with it, though it outright over-rides unpleasant tastes.
