So, I am moving to Savannah, and I am now reaching the point where I am pretty freaking excited about it. The apartment that my friend and I are moving to has a fireplace and a mantle, and I have been wracking my brain to think of something to hang over it. I finally settled on portraits of my dogs in formal 1812 attire.
So here's Chloe dressed as Josephine Bonaparte from The Coronation Of Napoleon, a painting by Jaques-Louis David, completed in 1812. I'm going to keep sketching to figure out the pose and final costume design, transfer it to a canvas, and paint it in oils, but this is a fun little sketch I worked on at work. C:
