(blowharding ahead, be warned!)
General comment: Doing a small series of Speck, starting from the very beginning.
LONGASS COMMENT: So Anthrocon was a blast, and the TLK Meet 'n' Greet got me all warm and fuzzy and nostalgic. Speck, my fursona as of this day and age, was not originally a domestic cat. She started out in the land of TLK.org's Chat Room as a cheetah who, at the emowhine age of 13, would often ascend to the top of Pride Rock, claiming to want to jump off as a means of getting attention. She would later drop this bullshit to dress up as Danny from Cats Don't Dance and act like a total dumbass. So here she is, in all her derpy glory, complete with failgazelle. The pose is most definitely from a quick Google image search, but for the most part she was drawn from memory, and I gave up on filling in her spots because I am hot, lazy, and tired.
And yet I type all this drivel out. AWESOME.

AHHHHH! *loves on you* This. Is. AMAZING. It's so fun to see where we all started...goodness, it makes me wanna draw old school Flare. You remember her from back in the RP days with Green Lantern? I also remember very clearly the first drawing I ever saw of cheetah Speck, it was a simple headshot, and it's neat to look at this pic, now, and think, "Wow, look at how far our art has come!" I love the expression and pose and anatomy and LAWL UR DOIN IT RONG!!! <3
