In May of 2010, I went on a trip to Slovenia with my dad and my sister. These are some of the pictures I took during my trip.

This is a picture of the village of Brode. My paternal grandfather grew up in the house with the copper-colored tree next to it near the center of the photo. I took this picture from near the small house where my grandparents lived together when they first got married. My grandparents left Slovenia in the late 1940s and eventually settled in Cleveland, Ohio.
