Ooh, he's a moody boy... 😮

Cody seems to usually either be anxious or embarrassed, so when he's showing any other mood it seems to stand out a bit.

Poor guy, you get caught in a diaper a dozen or so times and everybody just thinks of you as "the diaper zebra"... Everybody asks, "where's the diaper zebra", but nobody asks, "how's the diaper zebra". You see someone that you know, and they ask you how you are, and you just have to say that you're fine, when you're not really fine, but you just can't get into it because they would never understand.

Mocked by the normies who don't understand hyperpop, I imagine. Or probably just emo.

This reminds me, I haven't drawn an actual emo in forever. Cody strikes me as a bit more "goth" than "emo" but I'm sure he could pull either off if he really tried--and being a zebra means he won't have to spend a ton of money on make-up, either!

Maybe I do need to draw him on the receiving end of some teasing--but I feel like most of the "oh look it's Cody and his diaper is showing" art already fits that bill...

Cody's one of my fave characters, mostly he reminds me a little of the everyday-person who's also a closet-diaper wearer at times. Right now he maybe needs some company though.

True, aside from that one little detail about him, he's very mundane in both appearance and characterization, almost boring... and yet it seems like he has quite the following! I guess that just goes to show that there's more to making a good character than a flashy, over-complicated design and an edgy backstory.
