I was certain I'd posted this to FA already but apparently not. Zonto is an important character in the Angel and Knight Prime dreamscape and both of its alternate universes.

As the Earl Marshal from Downstairs, Hell, in the Prime dreamscape he's responsible for overseeing all operatives in the realities of the World that he has been granted permission to visit. Think of him as being the head handler who reviews the progress of other handlers in a spy network. He's very good at his job and has been doing it longer than anyone else.

As is true in the real world espionage makes for strange bedfellows. Although a demon Zonto is good friends with Jessica Knight http://www.furaffinity.net/view/882846/ Carla Angel http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1017341/ their employer Olivia Campatello who works primarily for the Catholic Church http://www.furaffinity.net/view/942651/ . Heck he's even befriended Twitch http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1058801/

In fact on few occasions he's even enlisted the help of Jessica for an evening http://www.furaffinity.net/view/856422/ , and although he is demon of importance if you were to just meet him on the street you could easily mistake him as just an old, gruff man who walks with a slight limp and smokes too many cigars http://www.furaffinity.net/view/709595/

Being a rather pragmatic fellow more interested in results and efficiency than pomp and circumstance, Zonto is constantly annoyed by the overly dramatic, flamboyant, egotistical, drama queens and kings that Downstairs send him for operations. "Do all of you guys sleep through the damn briefings, or is there just no one knows how to run an Op down there? This is suppose to covert you dumb shit!" At that point Zonto usually puts his cigar out in the eye of the newly arrived operative. This guy got it up the nose.
