It IS pretty! :D Exciting and intense, too! So many things glowing! :) It looks like it's in the midst of some really climactic scene, with wind blowing and weird magic shooting everywhere, and the Yoshi's looking like ragdolls under the sway of a much more powerful force. And Cooni's expression matches the mood, too.
Now this is colorfull Nishi... And as Bosky say it looks like your in a mist of a climatic scene.... Look like a possesion scene or something else... something dark... Really powerfull picture li'l Hamster... And the blurry moon and the eerie atmosphere really add to your picture. Really good
Sweet work. I particularly like how Cooni appears as if he is uncertain, yet trusting, in the staff being able to see him through the event that is transpiring before him.
On another note, I can't help but wonder if this is connected to an earlier work, I believe by the same name, on DA? That one, if I recall right, featured a similar moon with Cooni appearing either at the ready, or lost in thought about what such a sign in the sky may portend for him as he holds this very staff.
As always, just as much intrigue and excitement as there are questions to keep you wanting to want to read / see more. *Flutters* Oopa!

Yup yup, I totally agree - this one came out all pretty ^-^ I especially love the colours - but you already know that from your earlier drawings. The blue moon and the sky going from light blue over red to purple looks gorgeous and very realistic - the contrasting colours make the sky look dark, but still colourful. And the firey glow in the foreground sets a great mood to an already atmospheric drawing. The only nitpick I'd like to bring on (again? X3) is that the lines look a bit sketchy because they are more or less drawn with the same thickness - of course, there's nothing wrong with sketchiness - it also adds a lot of movement just because it's sketchy and fast-drawn. There's a few places where you made lines slightly thicker than in others (such as on the staff, and that character's right elbow), and it works well there - so I think that if you made the different line weights a little more pronounced, it'd make a wonderful drawing even better.
Keep up the great work ^-^

Hehe, oh yeah! X3 I remember you encouraging me to make line weights different too. X3 I guess the idea just never hits me! Though, I did go over some parts multiple times, so that made 'em look thicker. And it'd be kinda weird seeing some thin and others thick. X3 Hopefully sometimes I'll try to mpay more attention to that! :3
But I'm glad the rest of it works awright! :3
