with in the Twilight cage after the great battle Sonic and his friends had, the Echidnas had trouble as the combine of the other aliens stayed together to keep the Echidnas under control.
yet a family with in the Echidnas began a revolt up on Lord Ix, they took control and began a rule that soon reconqured the twilight cage.
the new rulers of Nocturnus focus the power into weapons that destory the other aliens races, and so they destoryed killed almost all of the aliens off, and use them for testing making new weapons.
their leader Dimitri or as he known Lord Dimitri use all they learn to make a cybernetic body battle suit that would let the old Echidna fight and rule.
his childen became commanders of the new Dark Brotherhood as they shown their conquering power, but most of all was Lien-da her heart was dark for there was no on she saw fit to be her mate.
then soon they reopen the worm hole and left the Twilight cage after killing the aliens all off, they went to the city of Mobotropolis where Eggman lives.
there with their ships and tech they team up with him offering him more tech and more change to take over the world, the made a machine called the Roboticizer a mix of Eggman's Badnik makers and their cybernetic suit and metal plate makers.
and then they began to slowly conquer the world, yet all that stand in their way is Sonic his friends and Sonic's son Runnic, but Lien-da see Runnic as something to toy with to mess with.
the Dark Egg Brotherhood and Eggman now control 20% of the world how much longer till he conquers more?

Nero: Heh, heh, heh... You say that as if it would actually work on me... Hell, Robotnik's tried so many methods of Roboticization on me, he went insane... Well, FURTHER insane... And the main reason for that is because the same metal that was used to create the Acorn Family Sword, and as such, the same magic power in it, is part of my skeleton structure. Every bone in my body has even the SLIGHTEST trait of it, meaning your roboticization machines won't even affect me in the slightest.

Master of Fire and Lightning elemental control. (Think like Blaze's Pyrokinesis and Electrokinesis, control of electricity)

Well, actually, for Nero, mastering stuff like that is really easy. Once he sees it, he's quick to pick it up, but it takes him a good month or so to perfectly master that technique, and then a few challenging battles to help him develop new uses for them. He was NATURALLY born with those techniques, but it took him a long time to learn how to actually USE them.
Trust me, even Plasma can be disrupted if a strong enough electric current is put out in it. But the barrier was weakened to the point that it dissolved after the blast was finished. So he pumped out enough energy to create a small barrier to cover his body and protect him from the full brunt of the plasma blast.
