Like Zotty, Gabby has gone through some changes.
Essentially, she also got a more menacing look and some feathers in lieu of hair.
Her sisters, Nikki and Lizzie are also able to shape shift and retract in her body, but Gabby prefers them in their "tail snake" form, so they could help her out in her lab more efficiently.
