I love analyzing lyrics of songs and interpriting them to parts of my life, these specifically I relate to accepting my mixed race; growing up in a primarially caucasian community and often pushing away my blackness to fit in with my peers, even though my skin color already set me apart from them to start off with.
I still struggle with accepting that I don't fit in 100%, and I may never be able to. But as long as I'm myself I'll find a way to get by
