Heavy Weapons Guy would not do that.
It may not show, but Gaston is actually the ancestral predecessor of almost every amazingly awesome tough guy out there. His manliness is obviously a key ingredient in the genetic make-up of such icons as SAXTON HALE! (Australian), Chuck Norris, and (yes) Heavy Weapon Guy.
