When I feel a sneeze coming on at a bad time to sneeze, if I press the nail of my thumb into the tip of my pinky finger, that puts the desire to sneeze on hold for a while.
Conversely, if I have a sneeze on its way that suddenly changes its mind, leaving me with a stubbornly un-snozen sneeze tickling the inside of my nose, looking into a bright light can force it out.
