Horsed Fen may seem like admiring long tufts of fur on his front hoof, but dear   equineboss said, that such behavior of a horse - ears folded back, head leaning, thumping front hooves against the ground standing with front to You - means that horse sees You as a threat and gives last signs to go away before attacking. Worth to notice and remember. I don't know what could cause Fen to act this way, but probably he is protecting something very precious for him and tries to repel potential threats (or competition~).
