This is the story of the town of Dakwood, or at least a brief history of how it began, and what it's most significant part is.

Hmm... Why am I sensing there is some oriental stuff in here XD.
And Vixens? Ouch.
Now, if one my characters came across this town they would suddenly become extremly cautious. Not only the fact that they come from the far east but stories of the fox people were frequently told in their childhood, where some are bad and some are good. Only, if you can play your cards right with them Xd.

I'm a BBC (British Born Chinese, yeah my Dad's old joke XD) and was brought up on two different worlds, British English and Chinese Cantonese.
I'm very proud of my heritage and developed some kind sense of anyone who takes the piss of it at a young age (Don't get me started on the differents on Chinese and Japanese -_-). And it's still with me now but less used XD.
I know you are trying to make something orignal here (or something simliar that I haven't detected yet) but I have been reading and playing fantasy games on the console for about 11 years of my life so far. So yeah, I know the majority of plot lines and cliches.
But the key to any good story is to make the reader get lost in the "world of wonders". If they finish reading the story and say it's a bit cliche. Get back in there and make a twist or two XD lol.
Anyway, you made a interesting scenario and has caught my attention. I think, I may write a fan story of this place but I will try to leave it open-source as much as possible (like travelers passing by?). Hmm... the possibilities...

x3 it is a bit cliche, but by this point, 'unique' is a sliver of land in acres of fields.
admittedly there's nothing particularly 'wonderful' about this town, either x3
