At first it was just a silly idea, but I ended up turning it into a sketch. Yoko is able to use his talons to manipulate small objects.

As you can see here, Yoko is holding a pen (made out of one of his feathers) with his talons to write down some text.

It’s a skill he learned during his childhood, that let him have his hands free to do anything else as long as he doesn’t need to walk. It’s not as precise as his hands of course, but for simple movements, or even writing, it’s good enough.
Some may wonder how does he sees what he writes from that distance; Yoko has a good view, that let him see things pretty far away, so a paper that is a meter away from him is no big deal.
That little skill helped him numerous times in situations where he needed to do a lot of things at once.

Perhaps I'll turn that sketch into a full piece when I have the time to do so.
