Got both posts! Hang in there, sweet bean, I'll get back to 'em asap. Meanwhile I will say this: my heart and all the good juju I can send are headed your way. You keep on being good to yourself, taking care of yourself, taking it easy, and I'll give you the reply I owe you fast as I can. *hugstight*
One of the things I never get over is how colors can be wildly different in chroma be nearly the same in value. I had to do some jockeying at the end to make sure the ship popped; the values of those blues were close enough to the background that half the ship vanished at size (not even talking thumbnail size). Crisp edges do a lot to make things appear solid and sometimes that (juxtaposed against loose, scribbly or blurry forms) will give you the illusion of movement. That I managed it is an unexpected prize. Thank you!
Sometimes you beat the painting, sometimes the painting beats you. I think I'm going to get two or three more paintings out of the rough that spawned this one. That's good, after a fashion, but it doesn't make for the most exciting Livestream session!
*hugs* Danke, Cowboy Kiani!

Oh man I used to love those!! All the rocket-ships felt hand-made. They were! but I mean in the sense that a handful of people *could* make something as complex as a rocket ship; even though it's a really dated idea, I still love it.
See, NOW I'm gonna have to do some Furries in Space stuff, thanks to you!
