"I'll tear you open and use your blood to paint the canvas that is the earth! I'm QUITE the artist..." -Zergeth, trying to intimidate Fergelm.
Gnoll maulers are aptly named, charging head-first into battle with their bare claws or any other sort of hand-used claw-like weapons to shred their foes to bits. They're as deadly as they sound, and even deadlier to face against. For the Direwind clan, with unliving warriors that feel no pain and can simply be reassembled from the dead, it becomes even more terrifying and dreadful, especially so when some individuals carry extra arms and claws on their bodies. Though Zergeth has no extra limbs, it doesn't make this blood-crazed warrior any less deadly. Though the Direwind necromancers would prefer the bodies of the fallen to be intact for proper resurrection, shredded bodies and limbs still serve a purpose, be it as fodder and parts for their flesh beasts, or simply used as food to sate the hunger of the ever-growing clan. Though Zergeth isn't as cannibalistic as Gringa, his sharper mind does afford him an advantage. Though still single-minded on his job of senseless violence and carnage, Zergeth has a notion of who is friend and foe, and what fights he cannot win. Brute power is fearsome on its own, but mix it in with an equally cunning mind, and you have the perfect warrior. It's said that Zergeth's quick-witted mind hails from the fact he was once an esteemed hunter of the Blackburrow clan, but defected to the Direwind, likely because he, like many other gnolls who defected and turned to the Direwind, embraced the wayward clan as an 'inevitability'.
Another quickie I forgot to post. Trying to space out how often I post so I don't burn through -everything- in a short amount of time. Leave a fav and a watch if you enjoyed, and stay tuned!
