I don't really use the brush tool, actually! I usually just use the pen tool and then the water tool to blend it in places, then go back and use the pen tool again, rinse and repeat until happy LOL. For this one I also had an overlay and a multiply layer above it for some shadows and highlights, and then at the end I messed with the color/contrast sliders. :D
