I did this sketch three years ago....and to this day it still warms my heart to look at.

Rich is my dad. Not my biological one, but a father in every sense of the word. He has one of the largest and most deepest hearts of anyone I've ever known, and as of this date we've known each other....nearly six years. And we deeply love each other. :)

He's not a furry, but he's a bear in every sense of the word as he is a father. And he's a friend to many furs who are close to me. :) He has helped me so much with introducing Royce into this world, and I am so grateful.

I know there are those who think "father-son" stuff is "wrong" or "sick", but this goes beyond anything physical. This is REAL LOVE. And I am only fortunate and blessed to know so many who believe in what I feel and are fortunate themselves to share it with those they themselves love.

When I draw bears, they rarely come out right....this one is one of the best I ever did, I think. :)

Oh, and Marc is my real name, in case you're wondering. ;)

And what he's wearing around his neck? It's a loon pendant I gave him....after one of our favorite books in the world: "Song of the Loon" by Richard Amory. (If you have any interest, read it.....It's so beautiful and life-changing...)
