To be fair, Trek would be more interesting with more diverse races...mind, the series itself actually does explain why this is, as a precursor race(Possibly Changelings before they turned gooey), 'seeded' most of the M class planets with their kind of life, creating the humanoids we see, and explaining stuff like cross species transfusions.
That said, looks good, this does. Lovely detailing, and nice angle.

lol yeah, I always found the attempts to "explain" why they all looked like people with a weird forehead was unneeded. We know you're a weekly television show with a limited budget, we understand. Just up the alien design when you can and give us a 3472 every once and awhile, don't bring attention to it, lol and we're good!
