Another panel from Animal Fair #1 (Fawcett, March 1946) and the story introducing Sir Spot. Here, he's just fended off a bunch of baddies who were harassing a courier, and he takes a moment to realize just what he's done, and how absurd and impossible that is. The original is at https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=73795 page 8, first panel. I added a dollop of coloring, although now, literally hours after doing it, I can't say why I skipped giving Freckles his yellow base. I probably had some reason, like being lazy.
