I always wanted to write out an advanced story like this, but I'm terrible at worldbuilding. I think in the future I'm going to take some classes and study the subject more so I that I can round out my skills better. This whole comic has been a great inspiration to get into deeper themes. (or in my case, a couple of sleepless nights are enough for my mind to go wild. That's pretty much how I started drafting the story for my comic)

I wish I had an imagination that worked like that. I just don't. Some people have it, and others do not. I can be a masterful creator of the written word, and spin a tale so beautiful it removes the breath from your lungs, but when it comes to creativity, it's like the passion just isn't there. To truly delve into imagination the way that I want, similar to how you mentioned, I need to remove a few more mental barriers, and definitely as many of the financial ones as possible. Earlier this year, I was watching my budget so closely that I didn't even have 2 extra dollars to spend on morning coffee. I'm disappointed in myself, but that doesn't mean that I can't move forwards, and now is the time to start putting action to those thoughts.

Can't help you much on that front since I'm not in the literature world. But I suppose you can start a Patreon like me or do some freelance writing/ translation?

I've been down that road several times. The only problem these days is that most of the good writing platforms have an extreme aversion to truth and dedication. Patreon, Medium, and a couple of other sites have already banned me because I started putting all of my research together. I make some okay money for now, so I'm not worried about that. My best option is working towards independence.
