Cozy Gametime With Joltvautia
Certainly one thing Clypse the Umbreon was bad about was that he worked too much. His mind was torn between the directions his two employers were taking him. He loved the web design he did for Lolanda the Lopunny’s fashion design firm and his girlfriend Volvautia the Eevee’s architectural firm. He loved the challenge of making traditional art, a classic charm that buyers enjoyed seeing.
The world was unique in that the divine took up many different looks to their lives; some were very old and traditional looking while others very modern. The traditional art look complimented many of the most powerful, well known and respected gods such as May Sa Muneh the Mightyena in her samurai armor, Sylvanna the Sylveon in priestess kimono, and Ulu’Lania the Alolan Raichu in her tribal armor.
Lolanda, who also employed Volvautia as a fashion model, was trying to adopt more modern looks but Clypse did try to put up some resistance. Volvautia on the other hand wanted to stay traditional.
Clypse’s mind raced as he left his home work space to head to the kitchen. He did not see Volvautia around though he could have sworn her heard her come in. He filled a glass of hot cocoa from the fancy, oversized espresso machine but as he was about to head back. He heard a voice from the dark living room.
“Dearie, come here” came the familiar alluring voice, definitely at a pitch to suggest she was in a mega form.
Clypse peered into the room to see Volvautia in her vast Mega Jolteon form seated next to the couch, the glow of her plasma ball high heels that allowed this mega form providing the only light.
“You work too much. I know you love it and all but let’s have a night cozy evening together.” She waved a Switch gaming counsel in her fingers. Clypse nodded and let the thoughts of work float away as they were replaced by how beautiful his girlfriend was.
The Umbreon passed by the familiar plushie of Zenythia, the Goddess of Stardust and the mother to the world; a cute, cozy reminder of her comfort and care she brought to all. Hopping up on to Joltvautia’s pawfoot, he took the game in hand and turned it on.
Joltvautia’s face was excited as she loved watching her boyfriend play these sort of games. Especially this one with the title screen, “Let’s Grow Eevee!”
Been a while since I posted a full digital piece, but here is a Patreon poll winner that was dedicated to my waifu, Volvautia the Eevee, with her Mega Jolteon form winning. Originally was a request doodle on Patreon that won its way to completion.
I tried to do a dark, night time room with limited lighting but I don’t feel I quite captured it correctly. Her head and everything up there should have been dimmer since we are assuming that Switch Clypse the Umbreon, my Pokesona, is playing is the only light source.
Oh wells, it was an experiment and I am still learning!
Done as a sketch on paper, scanned in, and painting in Photoshop CS5.

Now is "Let's Grow Eevee" the version in that world or is it a "special" version? ^^;
