Silent, stealthy and, according to his Square-off opponents, terrifying, Kage is a ninja, part of the Fuyu no Yurei clan. He has rarely, if ever, been heard speaking, but the few times he has, his words have been taken seriously. Kage is the Du Pesquie’s bodyguard, currently Mort’s. No one is entirely sure how long he has been working for the Du Pesquies. Some have said that records show him working as a bodyguard as far back as when Fedwick Smithereen died, but historians have already dismissed this, saying the Du Pesquies have always had a guardian ninja bearing the title of “Shadow”. Kage wears a blindfold at all times, which has heightened his other senses and makes him impossible to surprise. No one is sure why he continues to wear it, but the popular opinion is that it may have something to do with his arm wrappings and numerous scars.
