Within the society of the Gob-Gobs, Gobs consist of seven different ranks, with the Supreme Gob of Gobs reigning over them all. A Gobs have been modified to have aspects of their appearance, such as their hair and eye color, rendered to look exactly like the Supreme Gob’s. Though Gobs do possess physical male and female sexes, due to their permanent state of dress, they have no actual concept of gender roles. A Gob is a Gob. However, Rank status can be a dividing wall for many.
When taking over a civilization, The Gob Empire will typically try to allow the populace to go about their lives as normal. However, they will supplant themselves into the leadership positions while dealing with the former political members and military. The Supreme Gob desires only to make the universe a better place... even if it does mean taking over and replacing the very political systems that were already in place.
Gobs also have their own set of pronouns; Vem, Ve, and Ver. Vem is used when referring to Gobs of lower rank, Ve is when referring to Gobs of equal rank, and Ver is for referring to Gobs of higher rank.
S Rank: The highest and most esteem rank of Gob, only surpassed by the Supreme Gob. S Rank Gobs sport positions as Admins and Generals, as well as various other leadership and political positions. They are allowed immense freedom in how they can dress and act.
A Rank: These Gobs still possess great leadership roles, but are mostly regulated to the military ranks. Though lacking the great deal of freedom S Ranks have, they still have quite a bit of leeway. They are in charge of squadrons of other Gobs, and on rare occasions may hold some minor political positions.
B Rank: Gobs that can still be considered stand outs, but are less established. B Their position of power is limited to commanding and dealing with the Gobs of lower ranks.
C Rank: These Gobs are mostly just fighters on the lines. Through their visors, they can still communicate some strategy to others.
D Rank: The lowest of the military-based ranks. These Gobs serve only to fight and follow orders, not even possessing a visor.
E Rank: E Ranks make up a large majority of Gob society. They live outside of the military system and serve as civilians and trade workers. They maintain a lot of the normal day-to-day life aspects in the society. Though of low rank, they actually possess the privilege of being able to dress and accessorize as much as they want. They are also free to travel, some even setting up shops in other planets in the empire and on hub worlds
F Rank: The lowest of the low. F Rank is regulated for Gobs who have proven too difficult to deal with, or who refuse to properly obey. The rank is also home to prisoners of war who have been ‘converted’ into Gobs. Various politicians, captured military, and even the prisoners of other civilizations. Though some politicians and military figures do manage to be given higher ranks if they are deemed useful and loyal enough.
F Rank Gobs don’t even possess a visible ID number. Their very existence is regulated to positions of servants, labor, pets, and even such things as ‘emotional support Gob’. If an F Rank does luckily manage to prove itself in some way, they can move up into different ranks. Many F Ranks, however, find themselves sold off to other planets and locales in the empire and abroad.

Unless there's a true, actual need to, they allow the other races/species to continue their day to day lives. Though the Supreme Gob seeks to conquer and expand, they feel they are doing 'what's right', especially when weeding out more corrupt locations. Well-intentioned extremists, basically.
Though they do end up putting in place the whole 'F Rank' system instead of actual prisons. So if someone has severely broken the law, they aren't going to prison. They're getting Gobbed.
