This is actually a bit of vent art (Oh, that's right. Even my vent art is ridiculous) in response to a discovery I made today. It turns out you can follow a webcomic religiously, read every update on the day it goes up, show it to all of your friends, participate in the forums and make various bits of fan-art for it, but you're not a fan unless you love every single strip. I was stupid enough to claim that I didn't happen to particularly like a recent update of a comic I read, and this moronic announcement was followed, reasonably of course, by a series of posts claiming that "fans are never happy", "it's not your comic", and "If you don't like it, go read something else". Not exact quotes, but the point remains the same.
So let this be a lesson to you my friends: Never give your honest opinion on anything ever, and yes-men are the best, most successful and most loved kind of people there can ever be. Complaining (AKA Having an opinion that may differ from "OMG THIS IS AWESOME LULZ") is absolutely evil and you should hate yourself. The end ^^

The other option is to never admit to liking anything.. might explain the popularity of "ironic" appreciation.
Or maybe you were just mistaken for an unusually talented troll (there were some on Conservapedia who contributed enough to become highly trusted hencheditors before revealing their true agendas).
