What I ment is adding a face to a faceless character. Artistic license. Taking it upon yourself to take the mystery out of a previously mysterious thing.

those are some awesome wizard designs XD i love the serious face and i think my favorite final fantasy has to be 9 cause they bring the wizard back XD

9 had all the great throwbacks from the previous game,
it was like playing a 3d super Nintendo game, and i absolutely loved it.

and the best part was all the personalitys of the charaters were the best i ever seen in the series.

of course, 4-6 were also excellent, actually, they were all pretty good up until 9, that was the last good one. lol.

Its seriously awesome, so long since I played it in my emulator I almost forgot.

never heard of terranigma... i just read about it... it sounded interesting, until i read about one-time-use magic spells... that seems kinda stupid.

i hate workin my ass off for something that vanishes the minute i use it.

i wouldnt say its the best, maybe one of the best... dragon quest is an awesome series... my favorite being dragon quest 8...

i lost interest in final fantasy after FF7 and FF8... FF9 was good too, but i didnt like it as much as 7 and 8... and from 10 onwards, they just kinda suck.

as with dragon quest, the eighth final fantasy is my favorite in that series...

i also like radiata stories, thats fun... 177 unique characters over two different sides of the story that you can choose from to build your party...

its a Zelda style game, and his combat style is pretty bad-ass especially for super Nintendo.

The story is so flipping original too, you have to recreate the planet earth from the inside out, and you even can resurrect a few continents that are believed to be a myth.

Definitely love the Black Mage. Never been fond of Red Mages and this one just looks ugly.

By the way, EarthBound > Terranigma.

and Earthbound, Im not gonna hate on your decision of which game you consider greater, to be quite honest, both are excellent and a comparison like that is trying to compare apples to oranges, both are round fruits but "Woah!", hard to really say which is better.

Apples are round? They're both RPGs so why can't you compare them? To be honest, I'm not sure if I've ever played Terranigma but I checked out the Wikipedia article and it's a lot like Illusion of Gaia (which I think is a great game).

I'll probably look for a ROM of it and give it a go but nothing beats EarthBound. Out of all the games I've ever played, it happens to be the most memorable and the music was excellent.

illusion of Gaia is the prequel to "Terranigma", and yes them and EarthBound both have great music.

Ive played through Terranigma about 4 times, its great.

You know what I think about that so-called "trilogy"? I think they just enjoyed remaking the same game over and over again. The similarities are vast but nevertheless... they are all pretty enjoyable, haha. I'd like to see them remade with modern day graphics and such... after they remake EarthBound, of course.
