"Bastards." she said coolly, the jiggling of her dogtags barely heard over the low whine of the ion throwers at her shoulders slowly powering down. She looked back at the path she had carved through the enemy's front lines. Not much of a fight. But, the seasoned soldier she was, the girl knew to never drop her guard. As if to confirm this, the ground rumbled with the footfalls of another legion just cresting the hills before her. Lifting the balistic caster in her hand, she cocked and charged its mag rails. Shilla, of the 324th Special Infintry, was ready to fight.
