The one positive is that that construction will allow for a nice river walk that connects the "waterfall" convention center walkway all the way down to Point State Park and presumably some distance up the river.

I'm very active in the biking community in Pittsburgh and I really want to see a completely Allegheny River trail. This construction at the convention center is a piece in what I'm hoping will be just that.
