I'm experimenting around a bit with the times of release for my music, (trying to find a point where it'll be on the front page for more than a few minutes, to be honest) - Wednesday evening was to be my next choice, but I really didn't want to release this on Valentine's Day because at its heart it's really a rather bitter and unhappy subject.

It was originally inspired by the news that a couple in a community I was a part of were splitting up after years... it sounds selfish to think of it this way, but it made me feel saddened and slightly cheated, because it was a reminder that sometimes, things don't go how we want and the future isn't going to be what we think it is.

This is a mid-tempo song that's a bit more in the style of those I wrote earlier after the experimentation throughout the rest of the album.
