Acrylic painting of my pet dragon, Belinda, knocked in over about two hours. She is infinitely more beautiful in person than I can do justice to -- especially since I'm still just trying to figure out how to manipulate the paint.

Belinda is a sculpture by M. Peña, named Lap Dragon. She's about seven inches tall and quite heavy. Lap Dragons and similar models are mass produced and run about $200 US, coming in a range of colors, but Belinda's specific color has been out of production for so long that you can't find it online anymore. I can't fathom why -- she's absolutely gorgeous. I guess it makes her that much more special.
