I'm currently bidding on an Anubis-themed fursuit head and i'm hoping I win ... so I was in the mood today to draw an Anubis. I was testing out new layering. Its gouache underpainting, metallic acrylic inks and copic sketch markers for adding the darker shadows for contrast. I topped it off with white acrylic ink. I think it was a nice outcome. :)
The yellow/gold and the silver on the collar are actually all metallic, so this really shines nice. :3
