Ihrowyn Trivia

• Ihrowyn is pronounced like "ear-oh-win"
• Scarphagio translates to roughly "scar eater"; the "phage" comes from the Greek φαγεῖν (phagein), meaning "to devour", as in bacteriophage.
• The first sketches of Ihrowyn are from early-early 2018, making him both much older and much newer than I thought.
• Did I mention I love wasp-waist figures? This does not extend only to women; cinched waists on guys are a joy.
• He's essentially the polar opposite of Gren - pretty, smart, charming, and quick.
• The toon itself is actually one of my very very oldest, originally a gnome rogue I rolled in very early 2005 who has gone through several character changes.
• He's a rogue of masks and faces with three main personas: Ihrowyn the charming playboy, Scarphagio the callous highwayman, and Catgut the cowardly spy.
• His name was originally intended as a girl's name; after nine boys his parents were sure they'd finally get a daughter, and Ihrowyn was anything but. They kept the name anyway.
• Youngest child syndrome to the tenth degree.
• At the tender age of 14 he ran away from home and joined a bandit gang.
• Everyone from Ihrowyn's old bandit gang is still alive, and they all still hold a grudge against him.
• Ihrowyn and Ioline met in a bar fight and have been inseperable ever since.
• The two of them had a third companion in my original drawings, but Spooner's traits were divided up between Ihrowyn and Ioline and he never made it past concept sketches.
• He's very particular about keeping his hands clean and rarely takes his gloves off.
• His Shadowstep ability is IC and he uses it just as much in combat and spywork as he does to be a dick and sneak up on people.
• As a true bisexual, he doesn't know how to sit in a chair properly; he's spindly and a borderline contortionist and refuses to acknowledge the bounds of the human range of motion or comfort as often as possible.
