Being in the Imperial Navy, tough choices were always being made to keep order and make sure the houses were keeping in line. However, ever since the OMNI shutdown, those choices went from tough to extreme. The station was indeed full of the Neo-N fuel, but the pirates had made it very clear that it was theirs and theirs alone; promising to detonate the extremely unstable fuel if the remnants of the Imperial navy decided to take boarding actions.
Commodore G. Dire wasn't willing to let the countless Kaos Ships refuel and rearm, making the pirate threat unstoppable in this sector. Giving the order, the two Imperial ships open fired on the station, causing the station to fall out of orbit...... As the atmosphere started to tear at the massive refueling station, Gram ordered the ships to jump to safety, only returning to confirm the destruction after several days had passed, and keeping the ships at quite a safe distance.
Gram was thankful the planet was uninhabitable BEFORE the station detonated on its surface.
A lovely and massive undertaking for my talented artist Master Of Spirits!!! Many thanks to him and the Videogame "Crying Suns" for inspiring this piece, it is a wonderful treat of a game and highly recommend anyone to check it out!!!
