The boy trainer, a dewott and a little starly.

I did actually paint this pen drawing, but sadly it didn't turn out the way I wanted and I prefer the uncoloured version.

More material testing with ballpoint this time! Which I love for drawing and lining with but maybe its not so great with watercolour. Unless your just using light and simple washes since ballpoint isn't as dark as tech pens. So it just looks a bit dull and messy against darker layers.

My favorite part in the pokemon games is early on in the adventure. You've just beat the first gym and now your beginning to build your team. Picking your faves and training them up so you can travel to the next city. I tried to capture a bit of that in this. Though we're not going to have gyms in this game I'm guessing we'll still have some kind of challenge to test our progress? And I hope's there's little villages or something you can stop by in.

I know starly's supposed to be much bigger but I like it being the size of a normal garden bird.
