Once the king, returning from a campaign in the barren wastelands, brought with him an unusual souvenir. The local people called her "The Goddess of Lies". The creature held in fear hundreds of people, she was worshiped and sacrificed. Knowing how to feel the truth, the monster supposedly devoured the liars - these were the rites of sacrifice and at the same time the trial of violators.
The king personally managed to capture an unusual harpy: chained her in gold, he made the Goddess the pearl of his menagerie. Because of the collar, the "toothless viper", as the caretakers called her, could no longer swallow people whole and became more or less harmless. The cage and shackles of enchanted gold should neutralize her magical power, however ... how does she still accurately distinguish between lie and true?
