I thought it was amazing that he's on such a thin piece of wood and it hardly bends, and to have such ridiculously good balance that he's able to sit there on a branch that's swinging in the slightest breeze and relax as if he were on the most solid branch in the world. He's on the very tip of a twenty foot tall red cedar, and I was about 40-50 feet away, I would have tried to get a bit closer but a fence prevented me.

Wow, that is so cool. I love birds of prey. They are quite a bit lighter than you'd expect though, and yeah, amazing balance. Where are you local to again?

Well, that picture was taken just southwest of Oklahoma city, but I live about an hour away southeast of Okc.

Cool. I have only ever seen them in Texas once, so they are really a novelty to me :)
