Remember driving one while in Germany about twenty years back... was quite an experience on the Autobahn. Having driven bad western 30s and 40s cars it was a somewhat similar driving experience but felt even more unsafe at speed. Seeing the factory that built them was an eye opener as well... a classic case of devolution of an industry.
