When a child's attempt to create an imaginary friend go awry, an uncontrolled beast is set loose on the streets of Lunar City. But is this beast truly the nightmarish creature that adults see it as.
Or is it just looking for a new best friend?
AND. WE. ARE. BACK EVERYONE. Hey there one and all. It's been quite a few months since our last submission, but, here I am back in the saddle. I hope you all enjoy this tale. I've gotten backed up from editing stories. this one here for example has been finished for over a year. I gave it a light edit to try and fix it up. But I think I won't be focusing as hard on that, otherwise, I'll just hit another drought.
So, please, enjoy this story, and I would love to hear your thoughts on it. This was a real fun story to write.

" But we’ve all made mistakes. "
Congrats on writing a story where those words are JUSTIFIED. Patch is naive, innocent, ands no idea how to interact with anyone but children, and his intentional crimes were limited to acts of self defense or defense of another. ( Toyman did much the same in a Superman comic, kidnapping neglected children of several mobsters... so they could actually be happy.) Patch had no clue what he was doing harmed anyone!
Compare this to some comics that will go unnamed where the adult, intelligent, and rational antagonist is given a free pass for intending to flood an entire town and turning the population into their brainwashed slaves because they were doing it for their friends... when a much cleaner and easier solution was painfully easily available from the beginning.
Patch is ACTUALLY misguided, and ACTUALLY naive and doesn't understand what he's doing!
What was Patch's reaction to that?!

Oh, you'll be seeing more of Patchwork, he'll be showing up in other stories, as he's now attached to Fenrir. The fact is, he shouldn't have even been able to 'exist' when he lost his first child. It was sheer will and desire from what should have been the equivilent of a magical AI that let him hold on rather then fade and unravel. He just wanted to bring joy and smiles to his children. To make them happy and play whatever games or things they wanted.
