It's about that time of year for me to reflect on the losses I've had, especially that of my Uncle who'd been killed in action back in 2007 during Operation Iraqi Freedom. So this piece I commissioned from Heavenly Sun as another one of those vent art pieces but in memory of the loss of my uncle who had never gotten to see me graduate or succeed in any way or got to see any of the tough times my family had been through and got split up over. Just really sucked that he made more of a role model and inspiration than my own father, but that's that. I felt pretty fulfilled after getting this piece.

So for those of you who don't know what the cross and flame is on the grave stone... That's the Methodist symbol, another branch of Roman Catholicism/Christianity. Anyways, cheers.
