The Federation of Golden Stars was able to overcome the gravity of Vilous and finally leave their home star system. They saw the symbol of an unfinished ellipse on the hulls of abandoned and drifting ships. The meaning of this symbol is a mystery, but linguists at Data Things suggest it is pronounced "Omega". Nearly every pinnacle of light paths led to sectors of ancient machine debris. These machines have a similar feel to that of Federation boats. There, they first encountered the aggressive nature of the IMM. This led to the emergence of two government agencies: the IMM Security Committee and the Capture Search Fleet Omega.
