lol I hate buying computers. The companies that sell them "including alienware, which is now really a fancy plastic version of their dell XP line" always seem to make them wrong, flood the hard drive with crap ware they don't need, put the cheap slow motherboards in stuff like that. Ugh.

Agreed; Microsoft is TERRIBLE about crappy programs that "help" the computer. :/ I've heard that Macs are pretty good, but I think that you chose a unique way of doing things. You built your OWN computer, am I understanding right? That's incredible! At least you know what's all in it! ;)

I'm gonna butt in here just because i think you guys might find this funny. i once had this really old computer keyboard that, instead of an escape button, had a big, bright red button that said "PANIC!" It acted just like escape would, but it was still hilariously fun to press.

I did that just recently and luckilly I can rebuild it. Unfortunatly, it still has the same problems that it had before I slammed the keyboard so hard it stove in part of my desk, destroyed the mouse (which isn't as easy as it sounds) and put dents into the case so that the panels won't fit flush anymore. o.o And that all was before I found my jackhandle and attacked it further. I know it's just a machine, GIGO, etc, but when my highspeed internet is as slow as Dialup and it takes over five minutes for a right click to register, I can actually hear my frayed patience further snapping. x.x

remember if it wont close press ALT + F4
if that dont do it just throw it at someone and see if it bounces off there head
