This one was an exercise in medieval realism. Both characters are equipped with arms and armor that actually existed in the past. The wolf wields a typical knight’s sword, while the cat wields a Polish/Ottoman mace. The cat wears a gambeson, while the wolf wears brigandine over a gambeson. It would seem that the wolf has more protection, but the cat’s mace can really pack a punch even through thick armor. Its anyone’s game in this fight.
