A little history; Colin grew up in a household that was helmed by two workaholic parents and three older brothers (Brock, Checker, and Pepper), and he was struck with a two-fer of very little parental hugs and kisses and getting the brunt of rough-housing from his tie-sporting suit-monkey older siblings. In the present, he's not used to giving or receiving outward displays of affection, but Orchid's slowly helping him get accustomed to them, such as just holding hands while walking on a beach with next-to-no other visitors on it :3
