This was a pretty old creature concept of mine that I decided to remake. These little guys are called "Baakudoa". They are reptile creatures that are about a foot in a half feet tall and about 3-4 feet long. They are shy creatures that live deep within the rainforests. Local villages actually think of the Baakudoa as gods and worship them, they believe they're gods of the rainforests and of good luck. Some villagers like to give gifts like jewelry and tokens to them by tying the treasures onto their horns showing their love and respect for them and hope to be blessed. They are so loved by the people that the penalty of killing one is death. People who aren't native to the forests and not very religious believe they're nothing more then just animals, but they do admit they are mysterious and seem magical in a way. So are they spiritual beings? Or just another reptile?
