For the first time in ages I draw something out of my imagination! Sort of. The A-B-Sea Serpent is a minor character in Ruth Plumly Thompson's The Royal Book of Oz, the first Oz book after L Frank Baum's death. The A-B-Sea Serpent is a fun character idea, and helps the young mer-children learn their letters. Didn't see enough of him. (He's only in chapter two, with a mention in chapter ten.) I'd also like to draw his companion the Rattle-Snake but I don't have anywhere near the control to do something that complicated.
(If you're tempted to read the novel ... uh ... there's a bunch of fun stuff in it. But a lot of the action is set in a Fantasy China and ... uh ... I suppose it's well-intended to have the guest kingdom not be another Medieval Ruritania/Grand Fenwick at least?)
