So, a few months ago I've watched some fun Monster Hunter videos on youtube and that inspired me to make a volcanic drake which you can find here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/39339176/
Lately, I've binged a few of those videos again and that reminded me of said vulcanic drake... and made me want to create a different variant/subspecies of it.

BEHOLD!! The Vulcanic Drake- Blue Fire Mode!!
Unlike its regular, orange-brown variant, this drake is far more aggressive. It too can spit fire and create lava fields for combat, but it also relies more heavily on its long and spiky tail, whipping it at such high speed that it ignites and causes a small explosion on impact. The crystals growing out of its body are searing hot and brimming with fire magic.
