While the Greater Forest Area has become more modernized over the years as more and more people came to visit and settle, the Forest proper remains as it ever was. Idyllic and storybook-like, the Forest finds itself home to many folks, anthro and non. More often than not, what unites them is an appreciation for the peaceful comfort which can be had here. It may not have modern conveniences, but there always seems to be enough to go around, and the people looking to have a nice time always manage. Shift-Tec has made something of a study of the place, and vacationers come from many other 'verses looking to "rough it" in in relative comfort. Through it all, the Forest has remained, tranquil and serene.

Slither has been here from the beginning, at least to hear him tell it. Then again, his attempts to get everyone to call the place "Slither's Forest" never really caught on. All the same, it's his favorite place as well as his home. While plenty of anthros visit, and some even live here, the Forest is especially attractive to non-anthro species—dragons in particular—looking to experience the "old ways" lifestyle. Or at least, to pretend at it in a setting much more comfortable than a regular forest. Besides that, the Forest's reputation for being a bit of an adult playground is well-earned! Without all the stresses of modern life or the struggle of survival, what is there left to do but love? Slither's horny adventures are well documented around here, after all, and he has plenty of like-minded company!

For now, though, Slither is content to just have a nice rest in a little clearing, in his own private sunbeam. There'll be time for more adventures after a nice nap.

I'm so darn happy with this one! The scenery is gorgeous, and the big lug has hardly ever looked so majestic. Vel really nailed his body type, too! Forest dragons tend to be pretty lithe, with the sort of dragon build that's a bit barrel-chested and very slender about the waist. I love everything about this piece. <3
