A single Cherry Tree amoung the Junipers along AZ Hwy 260 E on the way from Payson To Camp Verde. Someone must have spit a Cherry Pit on the side of road years ago and it grew. Late Winter Snow and early Spring Snow and Rain have helped it out.

I'm glad you like it. I'd spotted it Monday on the way up to Payson, kinda a wtf moment. Got the chance to pull over and take the pic. The factory I worked armed security at has an Apple Tree growing through an old chain link fence in a buffer area between the factory and the airport light aircraft hangers. I posted a pic of it in bloom a year or so back. Oldtimers at the factory say its been there decades, someone probably threw their apple core over the fence and a seed sprouted. Factory was built in 1964 and ran as an electric motor production facility to 1985 when Bill Ruger leased the plant and hired the work force when US Motors was moving production to Phoenix. Tree had been growing before the change at the place.
