Ahh I so loved that final boss music from Megaman Zero 3. Pretty badass metal version of it.

Me, too! I found it strange the track hadn't already been remixed by someone (not collecting a paycheck from Capcom, that is). I'm glad this tickles your metalbone. :D

Hahahah. Hell, Opie, I've played all the games and I still get confused. Okay, here's a rundown.

Megaman X series:
Has X and Zero. Buddies, hunters, and ambiguously gay. Zero was found by Sigma, back when Sigma was still good. Zero started out eeeeevil, being created by Doctor Wily. When Sigma found Zero, however, they fought, and the Maverick Virus that the red reploid possessed was passed onto Sigma. Zero, bereft of this evil, decided "hey, why not lend a hand and stuff." He angsts bad over having caused a lot of the issues himself, and coming to terms with being created by Doctor Wily. Still, he gets over it by putting himself to sleep.

End X Series.

Megaman Zero series:
Ciel is a scientist who finds Zero sleeping in a laboratory. Assaulted, she desperately releases a little cyber-elf thing and "revives" Zero. This isn't true, however. The elf only made a copy of Zero, and took the free willed personality of the guy with that copied body. Copy Zero went on to do heroic stuff.

So now we have two reploids. Copy Zero, who is a new body containing the free thoughts of him. And Omega. Omega is basically Zero's old body, bereft of his good points of personality, and evolved into a being of pure destruction, driven by Wily's initial programming.

Copy Zero disappeared after Megaman Zero 4 and was never found, historically.
Omega was found in the ruins in Megaman Zx.

One thing... Doesn't Omega get destroyed at the end of MMZ3?

How does that work?

What reploid really gets destroyed? Sigma and Zero have bitten the dust countless times, only to come back. The luxury of having metal bodies, I suppose. ;)

I did NOT get that from the games. I thought Zero had his body rebuilt in MMZ1, that it reall ywas zero who'd forgotten his memories..


Damn.. I gotta get back into the X series to catch the nuances!

Sounds great so far! I suggest trying to level the guitar with the back beat and such though, right now it completely drowns them out. Maybe amplify the beat a little as well. The guitar work is perfect though :D

Right, right. Of course, this was just to show that I've rewritten the main parts; that backbeat is just a metronome. There's still the real drums, the lead guitar and the bass to add in; not to mention the vocals, which I'm still trying to work with. Thanks!
